Ravenshoe, QLD, Australia (2009)

Ravenshoe (population ~1000) is the highest town in Queensland, with Queensland's highest pub "The Top Pub" and highest railway station. It is on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland, 120 kilometres south west of Cairns. Originally a timber town, it's main industries are now tourism, beef and dairy farming. It is surrounded by world heritage listed rainforest, waterfalls, crater lakes, swamps, bush walks and water holes. (Ref: Wikipedia)
