Mural depicting life in a Tharu village (Sauraha). The Tharu is the largest and oldest ethnic group of the Terai region (southern plains along the length of Nepalese foothills). Chitwan National Park is located in subtropical inner Terai lowlands of South-Central Nepal, 200km away from Kathmandu.
