Byron Bay, NSW, Australia (2009)

Beach Shower Murals on Byron Shire Council's new water efficient showers on Main Beach Byron Bay.  The message is "Keep it Brief".  Part of a project by students at Byron High School.  Byron Bay is a popular beachside/resort town in northern New South Wales. Cape Byron (named by Captain Cook)  is the easternmost point of mainland Australia. Several world famous surf breaks can be found in Byron Bay.

Walla Walla, Washington State, USA (2009)

Mural on the front wall of the Worm Ranch. Dora's Deli at the Ranch is where you can buy delicious fish tacos.  Walla Walla is a Native American name that means "Place of Many Waters". The town is located in the southeastern region of Washington state, just north of the Oregon border.  It is a College and University town and it's famous for wheat fields, sweet onions and quality wines.

Ceduna, South Australia (2008)

Ceduna  is a popular stopover prior to, or after crossing Australia's vast Nullarbor Plain.  If you're coming from the west, it's also where you restock on vegetables - the quarantine station is just west of the town. Ceduna is a fishing and oyster farming town, as well as the commercial centre for the pastoral and cereal-growing area of the far west of  South Australia.  There are many surfing breaks east and west of Ceduna - like Cactus Beach to the west.




Croydon, Nth Queensland, Australia (2009)

Mural at Croydon Hotel.  Croydon is an historic goldrush town and  is located in the heart of the Gulf Savannah, 562 km west of Cairns. It is one of the termini for the Gulflander tourist railway.

Quamby Hotel, Qld, Australia (2009)

Quamby was once serviced a prosperous mining and cattle fattening district. It is now a small town with a population of about six people, 45 kilometres north of Cloncurry. It was once a Cobb and Co staging post.  An annual rodeo is held at the end of July.
