Kurri Kurri, NSW, Australia (2008)

Kurri Kurri (Aboriginal for 'the very first') is a mural town inland from Newcastle on the NSW mid-coast. In 2003 the Kurri Kurri (and surrounding towns) 'Towns With Heart' group decided to undertake a ‘Mural Project' with the aim of getting more of the thousands of cars that pass through the towns to stop and see what area has to offer. Kurri Kurri now has over 40 murals showcasing the areas history, heritage and uniqueness.  Kurri Kurri murals

West wall of the Artrage Building - Cnr Roe and Milliagan Streets, Northbridge. Touted as being Western Australia’s largest Street Art Mural. The artwork transcends all four sides of a building on Roe Street, Northbridge and used to be the old Berlin Nightclub.
