Scaddan is a small town located 50km north of Esperance on the Coolgardie Esperance Highway towards Norseman. The district opened in 1910, when 1000-acre blocks of land were released to be cleared for farming. Scaddan Pioneer Park Murals by Irene Osborne and Elaine Morcombe. The murals depict busy life in the small town of the early 1900’s including the Temperance Hotel (opposite the murals) still standing today though sadly derelict and in disrepair.

The smaller murals depict a sepia painting of an overloaded hay wagon with a storm looming; a sepia painting of the Scaddan railway siding and steam train and loading wheat bags onto the wagons; a sheep shearing scene; and full colour paintings of crop growing today with a modern Harvester and tractor etc working a ripe wheat crop. Mendooran (Pop: ~320) is a small country town approximately 350 km west of Sydney. Along the Castlereagh River, nestled amongst large gum trees, there is located a public rest area that has free cold water showers and toilet facilities. In the town can be found about 10 colourful murals reflecting scenes from local history and rural life. Murals were painted by former resident, Karin Duce. The great bullock scene on the pub corner depicts a dray packed sky high with wool bales, hauled by a team of bullocks. In early days, these teams would have travelled well over 100 km along dusty country roads to Mudgee - the closest connection to rail transport.

The SS "Canberra"

Situated in George Street on the wall of Jochheim's Pie Shop. This 7700t ship, named after the recently announced Australian Capital city, was Howard Smith Company's answer to Adelaide Steamship and Australian Steam Navigation Co. for a share in the growing coastal trade. Built in Glasgow in 1913, Canberra was placed on the run from Melbourne to major ports along the coast to Cairns. In that year Canberra became known as the "Honeymoon" ship or today's equivalent of the "Love Boat". Very fond memories are held by those who sailed on her. It was commandeered by the Government in 1917 and 1941 for use as a troop ship. The ship was sold in 1947 and was eventually broken up in 1959.

Kurri Kurri (Aboriginal for 'the very first') is a mural town inland from Newcastle on the NSW mid-coast.

In 2003 the Kurri Kurri (and surrounding towns) 'Towns With Heart' group decided to undertake a ‘Mural Project' with the aim of getting more of the thousands of cars that pass through the towns to stop and see what area has to offer. Kurri Kurri now has over 40 murals showcasing the areas history, heritage and uniqueness.

Halls Creek was the site of Western Australia's first Gold Rush. It is located in the East Kimberly Region of Western Australia. The town is a support centre for remote cattle stations in the area. For tourists it is the only sizeable town for 600 km on the Great Northern Highway. It is a major welfare hub for the local indigenous Jaru (Djar-u) and Kija (gKid-ja) peoples as well as some Tjurabalan peoples from the Great Sandy Desert to the south of the town. Ravenshoe (population ~1000) is the highest town in Queensland, with Queensland's highest pub "The Top Pub" and highest railway station. It is on the Atherton Tableland in Far North Queensland, 120 kilometres south west of Cairns. Originally a timber town, it's main industries are now tourism, beef and dairy farming. It is surrounded by world heritage listed rainforest, waterfalls, crater lakes, swamps, bush walks and water holes. (Ref: Wikipedia)

Northam is about 100 km east of Perth. On the banks of the Avon River, it is the regional centre of the Avon Valley and Central Wheatbelt. A rich farming area it produces wheat, barley, oats, sheep, wool and cattle.

Concrete is a small town on the North Cascades Scenic Highway and lies at the junction of the Baker and Skagit Rivers (Mount Baker is just to the North). The name comes from it being known as "Cement City" when the Washington Portland Cement Company built a plant in the town.
